This holiday season we would like to thank the United Way of San Juan County for its continued support of The Funhouse.

In 2010, UWSJC provided funding for two of our most important programs: mentoring and teen night.

The mentor program provides traditional one-on-one mentor matches for kids, as well as project-based matches that connect a caring adult with a small number of children who learn a craft or skill. We also match children and seniors in the journal project.

Teen night, held every Friday and Saturday night of the year, gives teens a fun, inspiring, safe, non-judgmental place to hang out on weekend nights. These programs would not be possible without the support that the United Way of San Juan County provides.

We offer a sincere thanks to the United Way for everything they do for children on Orcas, and throughout San Juan County.
