Wilks sell Eclipse Charters

Denise and Daniel Wilk, of Orcas Island Eclipse Charters located at the Orcas Ferry Landing dock for the past 27 years, have recently sold their business! A well-qualified company has bought the business and will continue to operate with the same level of expertise at the Orcas Ferry landing location.

It has been a privilege to serve the public, and we really appreciate the opportunity it allowed us to connect people to nature and the wildlife of our beautiful islands.

When we started in 1990 when most of the tours were wildlife tours, you were lucky if you saw a whale, but it was no big deal.

When Free Willy movies came out, whale watching became what everyone wanted.

We would like to thank all of our loyal customers and lodges that have used our services over the many years. We hope you will continue to do so. We are confident the transition will go seamlessly and Orcas Island Eclipse Charters will continue to serve the islands at our Orcas Ferry dock location!

This is our 40th year on the island! We are excited to continue living here on Orcas Island and enjoy some pleasure boating now.

Our Coast Salish Native store “Art of the Salish Sea” will remain open at 344 Main Street, Suite 102, next to the Nest flower shop. Please come in a see what’s new.
