The Wolf Hollow staff and board are so grateful to the Orcas Island Community Foundation and the many donors who contributed toward our recent grant request. This generous funding will help us make an essential upgrade to our diagnostic imaging system in 2018.
The injured and orphaned animals arriving at Wolf Hollow require urgent medical attention. Timing and accuracy are critical to providing life-sustaining care. Upgrading from a chemical film-based X-ray system to a digital one will improve the speed and quality of images used to detect broken bones and other injuries to wildlife. We’ll also be able to eliminate hazardous chemicals from our process – a benefit to our staff and the environment!
As we celebrate 35 years of helping wildlife, Wolf Hollow is lucky to have such strong philanthropic partners at OICF. We’re grateful to be part of a generous community committed to protecting our natural resources. Our work would not be possible without your continued support.
On behalf of the animals, we thank you!
