Alias Brass brings their eclectic blend of music to Orcas Center on Dec. 13

Get into the holiday spirit with the Alias Brass Company on Friday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m.

“Holiday Gifts” combines holiday standards, interactive audience carols, and exciting arrangements, for an exciting evening of holiday entertainment at Orcas Center.

The Alias Brass Company’s performances are comprised of standards and original compositions, along with concepts that blend virtuosic musicianship with a high level of entertainment. From Baroque and Classical, to Jazz and Pop, the Alias Brass Company’s shows are “a sure-fire hit; chamber music of the future with something for everyone!”

The “Holiday Gifts” performance includes all brass versions of popular favorites like Sleigh Ride, Carol of the Bells, You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch, with a Hannukah Medley, selections from the Nutcracker Suite and more!

Described as “the only name for music innovation” by Martin Hackleman, formerly of the Empire and Canadian Brass, the Alias Brass Company is a collaboration of five uniquely talented artists and educators from across the nation. The Alias Brass Company demonstrates their artistic range with an array of different shows that take audiences on an emotional journey by combining diverse elements of classical music, modern pop-culture, and all things in between to create an experience that is both engaging and exciting.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.OrcasCenter.org, over the phone at 360-376-2281 x 100, and an hour prior to showtime. Ticket prices range from $18-$63 with a $2 per ticket fee. There are six $5 tickets available for this performance, subsidized by our generous donors – These are available on a first-come/first-serve basis by contacting the Box Office. And don’t forget, volunteers who help with iPad check-in or serving refreshments get to see the show for free!
