The Visual Arts Committee of Orcas Center welcomes artists who use discarded or found materials to participate in our next community show: The Art of Recycling!

Wall art, 3-dimensional work, and wearable fashion will all be welcomed. For 2d and 3d (non-wearable) art simply come to intake day on Wednesday, Aug. 30 from 10:15 a.m. to noon to drop off your work for installation.

There will be a fashion show featuring recycled wearable art during the opening on Sept. 1. If you’re interested in participating in the fashion show, please contact organizers as soon as possible so they can appropriately plan – The deadline for registering for the fashion show is Aug. 1.
