Orcas Island Community Church would like to extend an invitation to all children on Orcas to participate in a Christmas program, titled “Who Is Your King?” by Doris Wells Miller.

The play focuses on the purpose and hope of the birth of Jesus, as expressed in the scripture, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only son so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life” (John 3:16).

The program includes several musical selections as well. Children of all ages and abilities are welcome. There are a variety of roles, including speaking, non-speaking and “small” speaking parts. If you know of someone who may like to get involved, whether they may like to act, dance, play music ot sing, have them email Stephanie Moss at stephanie@orcaschurch.org.

Rehearsals are Sunday mornings from 9:55-10:45 a.m., as well as two Saturdays in December. “Who Is Your King?” will be presented on Dec. 16 at 10 a.m. Children are encouraged to attend Sunday school after practices. And, families are welcome to attend Sunday service at 10 a.m. each week.
