Dance artists sought for November community dance concert

Artists are sought to contribute to the 2009 Orcas Center Community Dance Concert to be held on Friday and Saturday, Nov.13 and 14.

Paula McDonald, concert coordinator, seeks choreographers and dancers at all levels to contribute original dances of three to five minutes each. Dancers are also called to participate in group dances.

All interested in participating in the dance concert are invited to a planning meeting on Monday, Oct. 19 at 6 pm in the Orcas Center OffCenter Stage. For more information or to RSVP for the meeting or the show, call Paula at 360/840-3295.

Even if your dance is in the idea stage, consider attending the meeting and explore how you can collaborate with others for this dynamic community dance experience.
