Art for Orcas Kids is having its 3rd annual Garage Sale on Saturday, March 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Orcas Island Public School cafeteria.

“There is no funding for art in the elementary and middle schools and this is a wonderful way to raise money to buy art supplies and to fund the art teachers,” say organizers.

They will be collecting items on Tuesdays, beginning on Feb. 11, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the storage building behind Orcas Center. They don’t accept clothing, books or electronics but we will accept small furniture. Larger furniture will be accepted on the day before the sale at the school with prior approval.
