Bring your donations for Olga Daze! This year’s celebration will be Saturday, July 15 – rain or shine.

Included in the festivities are food, live music, a quilt raffle, fun for kids, a parade and a very large “Barn Sale.”

The barn sale offers all those one-of-a-kind treasures that someone out there is just waiting for—toys, tools, kitchen items, household decorations and more.

Donations will be accepted from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 22; Friday, June 23; Thursday, June 29; Friday, June 30; Thursday, July 6; and Friday July 7; and Saturday, July 8.

Bring clean items, in good working order to the Olga Park, next to the Olga Community Club. Do not bring clothes or books. Furniture is accepted only if you are willing to take it back if it does not sell. If you are unable to drop off on the above days or if pick-up is required, contact Steve Emmes at 376-1461 make special arrangements.

A tradition of Olga Daze is to raffle a handmade quilt made by Betty Marcum. Raffle tickets are on sale outside Island Market every weekend between now and July 15. Tickets will also be sold at Olga Daze. The drawing will take place at the event but the winner need not be present to win.

All of the proceeds of Olga Daze go toward maintaining the century-old Olga Community Club building, one of the historical treasures of Orcas Island.
