Mike and Nancy Herold of Puyallup are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Claire to Tony Clark, the son of Tom Clark and Sandy Clark of Eastsound. Tony is a 2002 graduate of Orcas Island High School.

Claire is a 2008 graduate of Washington State University and Tony graduated from Western Washington University in 2007.

The wedding is planned for August 2011 at the home of Buyral and Ellen Madan, Tony’s grandparents.

The couple will initially reside in Berkeley, Calif., as Claire completes a master degree in Genetic Counseling at the UC San Francisco. Tony is employed at the YMCA of Freemont, Calif. as the community program director.
