Daniel and Moriah Armstrong are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Juli Anne Armstrong to Jason Ackerman. An Orcas Island wedding is planned for August 2011.

Juli and Jason will both graduate from the University of Washington School of Medicine on June 5, 2010. The graduation ceremony will be held at the U.W. Hec Edmundson Pavilion at 10 a.m. with no reservations required for friends or family to attend.

Drs. Armstrong and Ackerman will then begin a three-year residency in Internal Medicine, with a focus on Primary Care, at Yale Medical School, New Haven, Connecticut.

Juli graduated from Orcas Island High School in 2000 and Whitman College in 2004. Jason, a resident of Story, Wyoming, graduated from Willamette University in 2001, with a degree in business, and returned to school in 2004 to take required premed courses before being admitted to the U. W. Medical School.
