The Friends of the Orcas Library is thrilled to invite the entire community to its annual Holiday Tea, a delightful celebration of gratitude, joy and the spirit of the season. Mark your calendars for Saturday, Dec. 7, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Orcas Island Public Library, located at 500 Rose Street, Eastsound.
This cherished tradition offers something for everyone:
Enjoy a cozy array of coffee, tea and punch, accompanied by a spread of homemade cookies, tea sandwiches, and other delectable treats.
Delight the little ones with activities for children and a special visit from Santa Claus himself!
Relax and soak in the ambiance with live music that will set the perfect holiday mood.
The Holiday Tea is FOIL’s heartfelt “thank you” to the community for its unwavering support throughout the year — through generous donations and participation in fundraising events like the annual book sale, which helps fund vital library programs.
Calling all bakers! Community members wishing to contribute cookies can drop them off at the library on Friday, Dec. 6, or on the morning of the event.
During the festivities, FOIL will proudly present the library with a check for $21,405, fulfilling the library’s 2025 grant request. This contribution highlights the incredible impact of FOIL’s volunteer efforts and the community’s generosity.
The Friends of the Orcas Island Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization fueled by volunteers who are passionate about supporting the library.
Join us for an afternoon of warmth, community and holiday cheer — don’t miss this festive event!
