Post 93 of the American Legion, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Sons of the American Legion are hosting a Fundraising Dinner and Silent Auction to benefit local Vietnam veteran Carl Capdeville on Friday, Feb. 25.

The pulled pork dinner, including scalloped potatoes, broccoli, cole slaw and French bread will be served starting at 4:00. Nancy Cadden’s famous apple torte with warm lemon sauce will be available for dessert.

Dinner is $18 and dessert is $2. The silent auction bidding will end at 7:30 p.m. and the winners will be announced at 8 p.m. This event is also a membership drive so come see what your legion is all about and support this long-time islander!
