This Wednesday, June 8 the Fur and Feathers 4-H Club will be hosting a senior dinner at the Senior Center. The dinner will be served between 5:30-7:00 p.m. You are encouraged to arrive early to ensure seats. The food will be green salad, celery soup, barbequed pork, mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, cole slaw and for dessert, Rhubarb crisp. It is $5 for seniors and children and $10 for adults.

Here’s what some of the people said at the last senior dinner. Maddie Dudley said she thought the Fur and Feathers Club was doing a good job at serving.

Kristen Wilson said, “for this one night of the month, this is the best restaurant on Orcas.”

Barbara Ehrmantraut said, “Getting to know the 4-H members is my favorite part about the senior dinner.”

Anna Tejada said that she would describe the dinner as “picturesque,” and “absolutely astonishingly wonderful.”

Emily Reed commented, “I am enjoying my meal very much. It’s nice and hot!”
