• Halloween cover show, Sea View Theatre, Thursday, Oct. 24, at 6 p.m. Start your Halloween celebrations at the Sea View Theatre, where an air of mischief and mystery will pervade, and creatures both familiar and unfamiliar will prowl. Come fully costumed to enjoy tasty food, a photo booth and an unforgettable night of live music. Just look at this incredible line-up!
• Cedar Hill Haunted Barn, Saturday, Oct. 26, and Halloween Night 7-10 p.m. This year’s haunt could be the scariest ever, but it will definitely be the biggest and best yet! • Camp Orkila Haunted Hay Ride, Saturday, Oct. 26, begins at 7 p.m. and Fall Festival, Sunday, Oct. 27, from 1:30-5:30 p.m. Mark your calendars for Camp Orkila’s Fall Festival which is back and better than ever! Kick off the season with the ever-popular spooktacular Haunted Hay Ride on Saturday evening and a day of festive fun on Sunday. Don’t miss out on this weekend of fall excitement!
• High School Halloween Party, Funhouse Commons, Oct. 31, 8-10 p.m. High schoolers alert: stack up the candy on your tour through Eastsound and then head over to the Funhouse for a special, high schoolers-only Halloween Party complete with karaoke, food and drinks, a photo booth and costume contest!
• Annual Halloween Dance at Odd Fellows, Thursday, Oct. 31, from 8:30 p.m. until midnight. Adrian Xavier/Ska Island Experience will provide Afro-Latin, ska and reggae dance tunes. There will be prizes for best costumes at intermission and food will be provided by Johanna’s Catering. Admission is $15. This is a fundraiser for the Odd Fellows Scholarship Program for graduating high school students.
• Trick or treating at the Orcas Library on Halloween. While you’re roaming the spooky treats of Eastsound this All Hallow’s Eve, be sure to make your way to the library! Kids in costume will get a free book.
• Orcas Lions Club in the Village Green. Join the Orcas Island Lions Club this Halloween for their return to the trick-or-treat festivities! They’ll be set up from 3-6 p.m. on Oct. 31 with all your favorite Lions!
• Dia De Los Muetros Fiesta, 550 Rosario Road, Saturday, Nov. 2, at 5 p.m. If you missed out on this incredible party last year, mark your calendars now! All are welcome to attend the second Annual Dia de los Muertos fiesta to honor lost loved ones and celebrate our community togetherness. Food and games included!
