Kiwanis Club is issuing a special invitation to the community for its next meeting on Weds, Oct. 16, at 12:30 p.m. to help determine the direction of Orcas Kiwanis. The gathering will be held in the building to the left of Orcas Island Community Church.

“We are seeking your help for the future involvement of Kiwanis for the youth of our island,” say organizers. “We need more Kiwanians to continue the many things we do as a club for our island kids.
