The Orcas Island Garden Club welcomes Cindy Morgan to its Dec. 11 meeting in the Madrona Room at the Orcas Center. The meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m.

For her presentation titled “Holiday Magic,” Morgan will discuss and demonstrate how to use greenery and winter plant materials for unique Christmas decorating.

Morgan is the owner of The Nest, a floral boutique located in Eastsound on Orcas Island. Since 2006, The Nest has provided custom flower arrangements that emphasize texture and color for events ranging from small gatherings to weddings and other special occasions. It carries a wide variety of house plants and gifts. Morgan is well known for her amazing flower arranging and her beautifully furnished shop.

The Orcas Island Garden Club welcomes new members and encourages gardeners, landscapers, farmers and those who love nature to enjoy this month’s presentation. After the presentation, visitors are encouraged to stop by our membership table and become a member of the Garden Club. All attendees may socialize, share gardening info and advice, and enjoy treats in a social hour following the meeting.
