In memory of the 343 firefighters who died during the 9/11 attacks, Orcas Fire and Rescue held a ceremony on the front lawn of the Eastsound Fire Station.

Chief Mike Harris and firefighter Maxx Jones read the name of each firefighter – both missing and found – who died. High schoolers from Orcas Christian School placed a flag on the lawn for every name.
