Orcas Island Fire and Rescue Board of Fire Commissioners welcomes Janet Marlow as the newly appointed Commissioner for San Juan County Fire Protection District #2. Marlow joins the team as Fire Commissioner #1 and brings with her experience as a financial analyst, operations and logistics manager, and human resources specialist. She and her husband, Will, moved to Orcas Island from Texas last year where Janet earned a Bachelor of Arts in English, and Master of Business Administration.

“Commissioner Marlow will be an incredible asset to OIFR,” said Board Chair Tim Fuller. “She has a wealth of knowledge to contribute and we are very excited to have her onboard.”
