The 2019 Paper Airplane Contest will be on Saturday, March 9 at 1:30 p.m. at the high school gym hosted by the high school key club. The gym and commons area will be open at 12:30 p.m. for people to come build their airplanes.

There will be competitions in accuracy, distance and air time as well as a prize for the most beautiful airplane submitted. Kids can have fun making their plane at home for the beauty contest out of any material and decorations they choose to wow the judges. Other air planes will be built on site before the competition. The key club is also hosting a folding practice at the public library on March 2 from 1-3 p.m.
