Lindsay Lancaster, of Eastsound, graduated magna cum laude with a degree in psychology with a minor in sociology from Eastern Washington University on June 16.
Lancaster would like to thank Daniel and Margaret Carper; the Orcas community; her parents; and her own hard work for graduating debt free. She’s home for the summer, working to save up for an internship in Spain in September. The internship is through the Bottlenose Dolphin Research Institute in O’Grove, Spain. Lancaster will be conducting photo identification of wild dolphin populations and learning more about the photo identification field. She is very excited for this opportunity and thankful for the Orcas community for being so supportive over the years.
