Each year, thanks to fundraising and generous donations from the local community, the Orcas Island Lion Club awards scholarships to graduates of Orcas Island high schools. Some of these are designated as “academic” and others are “vocational.”

This year, we will be awarding at least five scholarships of $2,500 each. If you are a high school senior graduating this year and planning on continuing your education in either a college or a trade/vocational school and are interested in being considered for one of these scholarships, please see your guidance counselor and ask for the application form for a Lions Club Scholarship.
