Katie Loring will be sworn in as San Juan County’s Superior Court judge on Friday, Dec. 29 at 4:30 p.m. in the Superior Courtroom at the San Juan County Courthouse. The courthouse is located at 350 Court St. in Friday Harbor. A reception will follow at the San Juan Island Grange at 152 1st St., from 5 to 6 p.m.
