The Orcas Orcas Dance Club will host a “Low-Down Unreal Turkey Trot” at the Odd Fellows Hall on Friday evening, Nov. 12.

“Dance music to suit every taste is promised,” said event chairman Steve Emmes.

Tickets are $5, and all comers will be entered in a raffle for a giant

Thanksgiving turkey. Those who want to better their odds may buy additional tickets.

“Dancing will begin at 7:30 p.m., to a wide range of CDs that represent ‘all the music that local dancers love,’ as reflected by their preferences shown at past club dances over the years,” said organizer Joe Floren.

Spinning the disks will be the dance club’s Lynn Richards. Dancers are encouraged to bring their own favorite music as well.

“Form a CD party,” said Emms. “All styles of music are welcome.”
