The Music Committee and Emmanuel Episcopal Church invite you to a performance by muscian extraordinaire Martin Lund. The concert begins at noon on Wednesday, July 10, in the church. Lund is a versatile musician who plays a variety of instruments in many styles, including classical, jazz, blues, rock and country. He spent over 20 years in Los Angeles playing a variety of music in radio and television.
Lund is regularly featured in productions at the Orcas Center and will be starring in and directing the popular Orcas Island Jazz Festival held during Labor Day weekend. He is also a very popular music teacher and has been the band director for the middle and high school bands. The program will be announced from the stage as Lund loves to surprise the audience. This will be his eighth appearance at the Brown Bag Concerts.
There is no charge for the concert but the Music Committee accepts donations for the Virgile Cleveland Memorial Scholarship that provides the opportunity for music students to attend music camp.
