Martin Lund will host his One World Music Festival at the Orcas Center on June 19 and 20 at 7:30 p.m.
Lund’s jazz-based musical variety show is one of Orcas Center’s most popular summer music events, bringing together Orcas Island’s best musicians and top-notch talent from beyond the islands, all to support The Funhouse.
This year’s line-up includes Lund, Gene Nery, Willy Thomas and Grace McCune.
Off-island talent features the Lopez Sound a cappella group; master drummer Tony Moralis; and “violinist to the stars” David Wilson. The show is a huge hit every year and both nights sell out, so organizers advise the public to buy tickets as soon as possible.
For the first time, there will be a limited number of special seats right on the stage during the performances.
All net proceeds from the concert go to The Funhouse, whose mission is to help the children and families of Orcas Island.
Call the Orcas Center box office at 376-ACT1 to reserve tickets, which are $24, $20 (Orcas Center members), and $12 (students).
