Islander’s Bank is having a reception on Friday, Nov. 21 from 2 to 5 p.m. to launch art photographer Michael Gerard Mele’s new show “Islander’s Art Harvest.”

“The show’s theme is one of gathering and thanks giving for all the beauty found in our natural surroundings,” Mele says.

Mele is a the primary therapist at The Clearpath Counseling and Creative Wellness Studio in addition to being an art photographer.

“I incorporate my years of Clinical Mental Health training and experience with my love of nature, photography and the arts to help people heal themselves, their relationships and their lives,” Mele says.

The photographs will be on display during the bank’s business hours throughout the month of November.
