“Memoir in May,” a 4-week class, will run Tuesdays May 7 to 28 from 1-3 p.m. at the Orcas Library. It will be led by JoEllen Moldoff.

This class is for those who are interested in beginning a memoir, as well as those who have been engaged in memoir writing. It is both a continuation of previous classes and an introduction. They will explore memoir writing techniques, read excerpts from the memoir literature, do writing exercises, and share our work in a relaxing and supportive atmosphere.

Class fee is $20 payable at the first session to cover copying costs as well as a donation to the library. Class size is 12 to 18. Please plan to attend all four sessions. Email moldoff@rockisland.com with questions.
