WaFd Bank in Eastsound announced that the featured artists for September and October are Orcas painter Peter Carlson and his mother, the weaver Ann Carlson of Ketchikan, Alaska. It will be the first time that these two artists have collaborated to exhibit their work, and the show explores some of their notions about color, cloth, landscape and traditions through oil painting and weaving.
