Submitted by the Orcas Island Community Foundation.
The Orcas Island Community Foundation is excited to announce a call for proposals for the 2022 spring GiveOrcas grant program.
Any nonprofit serving Orcas Island is invited to apply now through March 4 to be included. Applications will be vetted by the OICF Grants Committee; successful applications will be featured in the GiveOrcas grant catalog scheduled to be online May 2-16, 2022. Read about the application process and download forms from our website: https://oicf.us/nonprofits/annual-grants/for-grant-applicants/
All applicants are strongly encouraged to discuss their proposal ideas with OICF before submission. Read the grant guidelines and FAQ on our website. An informational meeting will be held from 12-1 PM on Tuesday, Feb. 8 via zoom to learn about the application process, answer questions, and explain our funding campaign strategies. Applicants for this year’s GiveOrcas grant cycle should plan to send a representative to this meeting. RSVP to megan@oicf.us to ensure you get the zoom link invite.
OICF’s mission is to enhance and preserve the quality of life on Orcas Island. To accomplish this goal, OICF distributes funds from the Community Endowment on an annual basis and the grants are supplemented with funds from our “Partners in Philanthropy” through the GiveOrcas two-week campaign in the spring.
