“Pick Your Pleasure” is the title of the Orcas Island Community Band’s spring concert on Saturday, June 3 at Orcas Center at 7:30 p.m.

The band in its 27th year has always felt it very important that music is for everyone. Along those lines, they want everyone to be able to attend aside from the ability to pay – thus concerts are free. Donations are welcome.

Also, acknowledging that everyone is different, the concerts offer a wide range of musical selections so there is something to please everyone, including the musicians. Board member and saxophone player Sam Windsor concurs saying the variety of music performed by the Band is one of his favorite things.

There are marches, classical tunes, pop tunes and movie music on Saturday, June 3. Get off the couch and try something different like an old fashioned community band performance.
