We are happy to invite library users back into the building, after almost eight long months of closure, so that they can browse our collections, use our copier/printer and even read newspapers and magazines. People can reserve or checkout materials as usual.
This is a “20 people for 20 minutes” pilot project, in which up to 20 people can be in the building concurrently, for a total of 20 minutes each. In compliance with the San Juan County ordinance, facemasks are required. People who prefer to stay outside can continue to use curbside services, which we have had in place since early June.
Our open hours are Mon-Wed-Fri-Sat from noon to 3 pm.
We hope that before too long, based on our experiences week by week, and depending on San Juan County COVID-19 case counts, we will be able to add to our occupancy total and time spent in the building, as well as to offer public computer access and study tables again.
