The Orcas Island Public Library is seeking a new trustee to begin serving a five-year term on Jan. 1, 2021. Review of applications will begin on October 30, 2020.

The board comprises five members who plan the direction of library services, oversee library policies, and oversee the library’s expenditure of funds. Serving on the Library Board requires a talent for teamwork, along with a belief in the culture and tradition of public libraries.
