In partnership with the Funhouse Commons, Camp Orkila will continue to offer adult language classes this fall. Classes run 1 day a week for 10 weeks. These classes can serve those who have always wanted to learn some basic conversational Spanish or offer a space for those with a good understanding of the Spanish language but are hoping to have some regular practice time to advance their skills. Camp Orkila will also be celebrating “Welcoming Week” (www.welcomeweek.org) with a language mixer dinner at Camp Orkila on Monday, Sept. 17 from 6-8 p.m. in the Larry Norman Lodge. There will be free food and bilingual mingling! You do not have to be a part of the classes to attend this free event.
