Council member Jamie Stephens is retiring after 12 years of public service on San Juan County’s Council. His final Council meeting on Lopez will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 6 with a reception to follow at Lopez Center.

The public is invited to attend a reception from noon – 1:30 p.m. at the Lopez Community Center with light refreshments, speeches, and more. The council meeting will take place at the Lopez Community Center from 10 a.m. to noon and resume after festivities at 1:30-3 p.m.
