It’s that special time of year when the traditional Santa Tree arrives at Island Market. Festive tags with a wish list will decorate the branches and offer the chance to make a wish come true for local kids who may otherwise go without something special this holiday season.
When you choose a tag from the tree there will be a registry to sign so that organizers will know every child’s tag has been selected. By Dec. 8, please drop off wrapped gifts directly at Country Corner, along with the numbered stickers you will be provided.
If you would like to contribute to a family beyond presents, financial donations can be made at the Island Market registers for either food or gift cards.
Located near the tree will be Santa’s Mailbox! Letters to Santa that include the child’s name and address will be picked up before Dec. 22. Each child will then receive a personalized letter from Santa in return.
If you have any questions, please contact Judi Lindgren at Country Corner, 360-376-6900. We thank you for your continued support and love for Orcas Island youth!
