Anne Auckland is the new Speech and Language Pathologist for the Orcas Island School District.
Auckland has been an SLP for 18 years. During that time, she has primarily worked as an SLP in schools with kids, teachers, staff and parents. Her experiences have provided her with the opportunity to work with students in preschool through high school in a variety of programs and classrooms. In addition to working in schools, she spent three years working in a Birth to Three program, assisting young children with developmental delays or disabilities under the age of three.
Auckland and her family – husband and two children – moved to Lopez Island two years ago. They love living in the San Juans. As a child, she and her family spent time boating up in the islands. Away from work, Auckland enjoys spending time with family and friends, engaging in outdoor activities and reading.
