The Orcas Island Education Foundation is throwing its 2nd Annual Community BBQ on Sunday, May 21 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Orcas Island Winery.

There will be live music and activities for kids. Burgs, dogs, veggie burgs and more! The cost is $20 adults/$10 kids (under 15). All proceeds go to fund programs at our public schools.

This school year, OIEF has been active in supporting a variety of programs K-12. These include funding for: a Family Support Liaison, elementary Outdoor Education, the MS/HS Futures Lounge, AOK (Art for Orcas Kids), scholarships for Juniors to attend HOBY (a leadership program), and scholarships for graduating Seniors. None of this could not happen without incredible community support.
