The 10th annual Summer Solstice Celebration begins Saturday, June 21, with the whimsical and colorful Solstice foot parade from the Odd Fellows Hall to Eastsound’s Village Green. The parade begins at noon.

Immediately following the parade, the fun continues in the Village Green, with local performers providing music and dance. “Music in Motion” is the theme of the annual start-of-summer event.

Parade participants are asked to gather at the Odd Fellows Hall at 112 Haven Road, near Madrona Point. The route will proceed from Haven, briefly cross Main Street and then north on North Beach Road. For further information, contact Laura Gibbons at 376-4066.
