Orcas Community Resource Center would like to extend its gratitude to the Sons of the American Legion wh0 purchased shoes for 97 Orcas children in need. Thanks to their generous donation, students from Orcas Public Schools, Orcas Christian School, Children’s House, Salmonberry, Kaleidoscope and Orcas Montessori School have new shoes to start the school year. A special thank you goes to Mike Heddington who single-handedly shopped for each and every pair of shoes.
