Special Orcas School Board meeting: Workshop with Budget Advisory Committee

The Orcas School Board will hold a special meeting on July 7, with a workshop with the Budget Advisory Committee. The board will first meet at 4 p.m. at Home Ec. Room 116, and may adjourn to meet in a closed executive session regarding personnel matters per RCW 42.30.110.1(g). At 5 p.m., the board will reconvene to a regular public meeting in the school library.

The Orcas School Board will hold a special meeting on July 7, with a workshop with the Budget Advisory Committee.

The board will first meet at 4 p.m. at Home Ec. Room 116, and may adjourn to meet in a closed executive session regarding personnel matters per RCW 42.30.110.1(g).

At 5 p.m., the board will reconvene to a regular public meeting in the school library.

The agenda includes approval of administrator (superintendent and principals) contracts, a board workshop with the budget advisory committee regarding the 2010-2011 school budget, and a discussion of potential student enrollment for the 2010-2011 school year.

The next regular school board meeting and public hearing will be on Thursday, July 22, at 5:30 p.m. in the school library.
