After a two-year absence, the Orcas Fly-in will be held on Saturday, Aug. 6 at the Eastsound Airport. Volunteer firefighters will be serving their pancake breakfast beginning at 7 a.m. at the fire hall across the street. This will be the only food service at the fly-in. T-shirts and sweatshirts will be available for purchase. Airplanes will begin arriving on Friday. Everyone is welcome to come out to admire the aircraft and talk to the pilots.
