Orcas Center is delighted to present a new production of Oscar Wilde’s classic comedy “The Importance of Being Earnest” from National Theatre Live on the big screen Saturday, April 12 at 6 p.m.
This fresh and vibrant production features the incredibly talented Ncuti Gatwa in the role of Algernon Moncrieff, alongside a stellar cast in a sparkling revival of Wilde’s most beloved play.
“The Importance of Being Earnest” is a dazzling farce that explores the absurdities of identity, love, and social conventions in Victorian England. The witty and sharp dialogue is complemented by the hilarious entanglements of mistaken identities, secret engagements and the search for “true love” in a world of pretensions.
Ticket prices range from $10-$63 with an additional $2 ticketing fee. Tickets are available online at www.OrcasCenter.org.
