The Lighthouse Christian Center is sponsoring an eight-week book study called “The Love Dare,” based on the movie “Fireproof.” Organizers say the series is “for men who want the real thing in their marriages.

“It is a challenging and often difficult process, but an incredibly fulfilling one. To take this dare requires a resolute mind and steadfast determination,” from the book “Love Dare.”

The Love Dare Project is Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Blue Heron B&B in West Sound. The first meeting is Oct. 20. The sessions are open to men in the community and the only cost is a nominal fee for the book. Call Bogdan at 376-4198 or Karl at 317-5082 to sign-up or for more information.
