Mr. And Mrs. John Fleischer are pleased to announce the marriage of their son, Blake Fleischer to Candace Thompson, daughter of David and Janie Thompson of Bay View, Washington.

The wedding was held at Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church officiated by Pastor Josh Kelley on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. Refreshments were served at Hillcrest Park Lodge in Mount Vernon, Washington.

The bride wore a Sophia Tolli satin gown with strapless sweetheart neckline and corset bodice with ruching. The skirt had draping with accents along edge with a chapel length tulle train. She carried red roses and white calla lilies along with her family bible. The bridesmaids wore red dresses and carried white roses and white calla lilies.

The groom wore a black tuxedo with black vest and tie. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with red vest and ties.

The bride is a graduate of Burlington Edison High School, Whitman College, and Western Washington University with a MBA in chemistry. The groom is a graduate of Orcas Island High School, and Western Washington University with a B.S. in Chemistry. He is a returned Peace Corps volunteer from Ghana, West Africa.

They are both now attending Georgia Tech studying for a PHD in physical chemistry.
