A recent request by the Port of Orcas for bikes and a propane BBQ has been successful — at least partially.
“We’re still in need of a child’s bike and a propane barbecue,” admitted airport manager Jeannie Frank-Sharpe. “The community responded generously with a few adult bikes, even a trike! The donation of a child’s bicycle and a propane barbecue would complete our request, and make for some delighted visitors.”
If you have a barbecue that needs re-homed and a child’s bike waiting to be ridden, call Jeannie at 360-296-1103, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The airport is located at 147 Schoen Lane in Eastsound.
