The Orcas Island Historical Museum is urging all their friends to make that drive to Doe Bay this month for the Thursday Doe Bay Cafe pizza nights.

“See why Johannes Viereck and his wife Jenny first settled in this pristine corner of Orcas Island back in the 1870s, and support your museum by expanding your waist and your island horizons!” Tom Welch said.

“The wonderful folks at the Doe Bay Cafe are offering a portion of the proceeds each Thursday this month to the historical museum, and the only way to show how much we appreciate them is for all of you to go there, eat a pizza and enjoy the open mic entertainment,” Welch said. “Help us, help them, and help yourselves in an old Orcas setting.
