The Orcas Island Farm to Cafeteria online fundraiser, in its quest to maintain its ability to purchase local foods and maintain the school garden outdoor classroom, is now more than 80 percent funded but has only five days left (with Thanksgiving in between) to make it over the top in order to receive matching funds.

“With less than $2,000 to go, we are calling on everyone who shares in the value of healthy school meals and a vibrant outdoor classroom to pitch in and help push them over the top by Nov. 30,” said F2C Chair Madie Murray.
