Fire Marshal Robert Low has confirmed that a propane stove caused the fire started at the property of Walking Horse Farm on Jan 8. Insurance investigators have taken the stove for further testing.

Low also has confirmed that the Dec. 14 fire on Spring Point was an electrical fire. The body of a rodent was found when they investigated the fire and the gnawing of wires may have been responsible for the short that caused the fire.
