The Friends of the Orcas Library will hold their annual meeting on Thursday, Sept. 17 at the public library. The meeting will be preceded by a Library Open House beginning at 6:30 p.m. with refreshments.

A well-known photographer in the island community, Peter Fisher, will be the guest speaker. Fisher will share a lot of valuable history of Madrona Point.

At the annual meeting board members of the Friends of the Library will thank the community for continued support by volunteering, attending fundraising activities, and membership in the Friends non-profit organization.
